Richa Shukla Moorjani is a South Asian-American actress and dancer based in Los Angeles and is widely known for her portrayal of the beloved character of "Kamala" on "Never Have I Ever" (Netflix). Aside from acting, she has been a student of Srimati Anuradha Nag (Tarangini School of Kathak Dance) for over 25 years and has been trained in other various styles of western and Indian dance. From performing at the prestigious Nehru Center along with Maharajji's company in Mumbai, the Bollywood Filmfare Awards alongside Madhuri Dixit, the ancient Assi Ghat in her hometown of Varanasi, Disneyland's California Adventures ("Festival of Holidays" show) to various tv/film sets in Hollywood, Richa has an incredibly diverse and extensive performance background. Over the years, Richa has also had the privilege of learning Kathak directly from her grand-guru Pandit Birju Maharaj, as well as Vidushi Saswati Sen, Padmashri Pratap Pawar and others.

Richa is passionate about upholding and preserving the ancient and sacred aspects of Kathak dance, while also finding new and unique ways to express herself as a young woman of the South Asian diaspora.
