Amaan Ali

Amaan Ali belongs to above sixth generation of traditional musical family of Moradabad gharana (School). Amaan ali is a son of Ustad Ghulam sabir Khan who is the well known Sarangi Maestro in India. Amaan Ali was initiated into Tabla from early age when he was 7 years old by Ustad Manju khan,wh is a Great Tabla maestro and son of "sangat Samrat" (Late) Ustad Habibuddin khan sahab,who belongs to "AJRARA GHARANA"(School) His training with verbitle repository of traditional compositions from delhi and Ajrara gharana,Lucknow,farukabad and Punjab school of Tabla playinng enabled amaan to widen his horizon. 

Amaan has cleared one of the prestigious examination from the Sangeet Visharad,an institute-akin to a benchmark in Indian music standards from Allahabad Prayag Sangeet Samiti..He has recieved over the years from cognoscenti and general public and by way awards like the scholarship for advanced traning in Tabla,instituted by C.C.R.T. and Gold medalist in All INDIA RADIO in the year of 2002. He has embarked on a career that promises to be illustrious and innovative. Years of tranning have exposed him to and enriched his music with the artistic aspects and nuances of diverse gharana styles. His distinctive style is strongly rooted in Classical music traditions,which appeals to the orthodox as well progressive.He displayed deep insight and understanding of Tala's by blending their purity with imaginative experiments. 

Amaan has an uncanny knack of striking an instant rapport with audience.He has sincerely attempted to infused interest and respect for Indian Classical music in the younger generation. Charismatic performer that he is, he can easily mesmerize the audience with his innovative skills and dexterity.... He has also accompanied many eminents artists like:- Smt.Shubha Mudgal ji, Begum Abida parveen,Shri Yesudas ji, Pandit Madhup Mudgal, Ustad Ghulam Sabir khan, Murad Ali Khan, ustad Hussain Baqsh, Raj kumar Rizvi, Ustad Ahmed Hussain Ustad Mohd Hussain, etc... Amaan has been taking his music to concerts hall all over India and also to festivals in abroad like :- Belarus, Poland, France, Singapore, Middle-east, he has also performed in " GAO CALLO MUSIC & DANCE FESTIVALS" in Sweden.. 

Amaan has also got a opportunity to teach Tabla at "BHAVAN'S INDIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SINGAPORE ( Branch of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan) for six months, He also worked with The National Theatre of Korea organized by CPI for culture exchange programe.. 

A budding new name in the world of Indian Music "Amaan Ali" is a very promising young Indian artist.He is sure to make a difference to the world of Indian Classical music with his Tabla
